In May of 2020 I was moved into the course maintenance division of the High Point Country Club due to COVID-19. On my second day there, I quickly realized an issue when I got lost on the course; the grounds needed a map. With the course having paths that intersect and start there, end there, it was definitely confusing for me. I started by getting approval by my superior, then I began work on the project to map the course and clubhouse. I made many considerations for the design of the map. I also realized, this map could be useful not only to myself, but to other new-hires, members, guests of members and more. With much deliberation and consideration, the first draft was created. Following, the leadership team at HPCC and I worked together to make minor tweaks to the map, then finalized it.
