Logan always appreciates a challenge. When one was presented in the form of the design and branding for a local restaurant, Logan was thrilled. Logan began working with the owners and management team at Cross Ties Restaurant & Catering in Downtown Thomasville right before the doors were set to open. The same building had been occupied by less successful businesses in the past and Logan sought to re-brand the new company with a new and fresh look. The new restaurant was unique in itself, serving Taiwanese infused, Southern American Dishes.
The logo began its shape with a common symbol for Taiwanese architecture, centered above railroad tracks for which Downtown Thomasville is so popular for. The Logo finished with a retro, heavy weighted typeface to match the railroad theme. The Taiwanese architecture element would also be used to denote the specific Taiwanese dishes on the menu.
